Summer Project: Funk it Up!

Hello Everyone!

Andy set us a task over the summer to design a poster for an animation, which could be potentially implemented in the future.

My idea for my animation is about the affects and stages within the weight loss cycle. This idea came about by my recent experiences and also my mum being a food technology teacher. With that being said, the target audience I chose would be  teenagers. The common trend within a teenagers life is Music; hence the title 'Funk it Up'. This will attract teenagers of today, to make a change to their lifestyles.

When the time comes to bring this idea to life, I would like this animation to be either a cutout or  stop motion. The reason for choice is I would like to work within the stop motion animation industry and pursue a career at Aardman.

The design of the poster was made in Adobe Photoshop. The choice of colours and images reflected on trends such as cartoons and music. It is a brief design, however with my passion for this course, I am eager to learn and develop my skills in any shape or form.
