Animation Process and Practice - Poses.1

During my discovery into 3D character animating in our first unit I was required to sketch 3 poses of my choosing, to represent my understanding of the module. As you can see the 'line of action' does co-exist in my drawings, as it also shows my developed knowledge prior to life drawing classes.

My first pose represents a cocky and flamboyant look towards the character, This is inspired by my interest in Pro Wrestling, relating to how they taunt their opponents in the ring.

This is the character in 'dreaming mode'. This is a basic pose devised, however represents the every day life of an individual. Due to modelling errors, moving the rigged character backwards was unsuccessful due to dis-figuration in the mechanics and physical framework.

This was made as a tribute to one of my favourite characters in 'The Simpsons'. His famous catchphrase 'Excellent! gives away his mysterious persona in the form of body language and performance. He does this by glaring vaguely and touching his hands/fingers together simultaneously.

After this exercise was completed, I decided to dedicate my time for Stop Motion animation, which is my desired career path for this course. However 3D work and personal projects will be posted reguarly, to demostrate my practice in both techniques.

3D evidence will be uploaded for part of the project ASAP.
