As my new idea did not go accordingly to plan I have archived my idea from the chronicles of kai project pitch from the previous year. By developing this project I will now have the will power to test out models and animation and special effects, in order to meet my desired ambitions of this potentially being commissioned for my final piece.
Trunchem Hall from Matilda is in an inspiration for my project, as the main character Kai is dropped onto earth for safety in order to live prior to the galactic war that broke out. As it is set in the year 3000 I will take inspiration from this, and modernise a building which my film will be mainly based. By trying to keep the derelict look to it, I want it to have a mixture of old and new, to blend in with the settings for the story more effectively.
I did want to make the film longer, however due to timing constraints, I have given myself the opportunity to describe my pitch as a trilogy of films.
